ACADEMIC ACCREDITATION

United States Education Commission lays down criteria for educational institutions established internationally. Institutions need to implement and acquire standards of quality, successful application which will provide accreditation license.

Criterion I- Mission

The mission approved by the governing board and standard of education of an institute must be articulated in a way that is easily understandable by the public at large. A detailed and proper emphasis on research, scholarship, instruction, academic programs must be known to the public in detail.

Criterion II- Integrity

The institute must ensure that its operations comply with the mission they have articulated. Their governance and administrative structures promote effective leadership and support collaborative processes that enable the institution to fulfill its mission.

Criterion III: Student Learning & Effective Teaching

The institute must provide proof of advance teaching methods complying international standards and student learning which exhibits fulfilling of the academic mission. The institute’s values support effective teaching and learning environment.

Criterion IV: Application of Knowledge

The institute must ensure that it act as an entity that promotes and encourages its faculty, administration, staff, and students by fostering and supporting inquiry, creativity, practice, and social responsibility in ways consistent with its mission.

Criterion V- Resources, Planning, and Institutional Effectiveness

The institute must ensure that the resources, processes and structures are in accordance with the plan of fulfillment of its mission and improve the quality of its educational offerings and respond to future challenges and opportunities.
